  • Conducting Body: Staff Selection Commission (SSC)।

  • Selection Process: Computer Based Exam → Physical Efficiency Test (PET) → Physical Standard Test (PST) → Medical Exam → Document Verification।
  • Salary: Pay Level-3, Rs 21,700 – 69,100 (basic pay)। In-hand salary allowances ke saath Rs 30,000-40,000 per month hoti hai, posting location ke hisaab se।
  • Age Limit: 18-23 years (General), OBC ko 26, SC/ST ko 28 saal tak relaxation।

Syllabus Breakdown — Kya Padhna Hai

SSC GD CBE mein 80 questions aate hain, 160 marks ke, aur time 60 minutes milta hai। Har galat answer par 0.50 marks katte hain। Paper 4 sections mein divided hai:

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning (20 questions, 40 marks): Analogy, Classification, Series, Coding-Decoding, Matrix, Word Formation, Venn Diagram, Blood Relation, Direction, Non-Verbal (Mirror Image, Paper Folding)।

Physical Test Requirements — PET & PST

  • Running (PET): Male — 5 km in 24 minutes। Female — 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes। Ladakh/J&K ke candidates ko extra time milta hai।
  • Height (PST): Male — 170 cm (General/OBC), 165 cm (SC/ST)। Female — 157 cm (General/OBC), 155 cm (SC/ST)। North-East aur hill area candidates ko 2-3 cm relaxation।
  • Chest (Male only): Unexpanded — 80 cm, Expanded — 85 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion)। SC/ST ke liye 76 cm unexpanded।
  • Weight: Body weight height aur age ke proportion mein hona chahiye। Medical exam mein check hota hai।
  • Medical: Eyesight 6/6 aur 6/9 without glasses (correctable to 6/6 and 6/9), color blindness nahi honi chahiye, flat feet aur knock knees disqualify karte hain।

Month-Wise Study Plan — 4 Mahine Ka Roadmap

  • Month 1 — Foundation: Maths ke basics strong karo (number system, percentage, ratio)। Reasoning ke har topic ke 20-30 questions solve karo। Daily ek chapter GK ka padho (Lucent se)। English/Hindi grammar rules revise karo।
  • Month 2 — Practice Mode: Har din 50 Maths + 30 Reasoning questions solve karo। Previous year papers start karo — SSC GD ke last 3 cycles ke papers available hain free mein। Current affairs ke liye monthly capsule download karo।
  • Month 3 — Mock Tests: Har din ek full-length mock do। Time management practice karo — 80 questions 60 minutes mein, matlab 45 seconds per question। Galat answers ka error log banao aur weekly revise karo।
